●Air filter
•This model’s air filter is equipped with a disposable oil-coated paper element, which must not be cleaned with compressed air to avoid damaging it
•The air filter element needs to be replaced more frequent when riding in unusually wet or dusty areas
● Hydraulic brake and clutch systems
• After disassembling the brake or clutch master cylinders, caliper cylinders or clutch release cylinder, always change the fluid. Regularly check the brake and clutch fluid levels and fill the reservoirs as required
• Replace the oil seals on the inner parts of the brake or clutch master cylinders, caliper cylinders and clutch release cylinder every two years.
• Replace the brake hoses every four years or if cracked or damaged.

About the 2012 Yamaha Raider S

2012 Yamaha Raider S model gets even more chrome: chrome triple clamps, fork sliders, air box cover, engine covers, headlight housing, handlebar risers, etc. Maximum torque occurs at 2,500 rpm while maximum power occurs at 4,500 rpm, providing exciting acceleration with great pulse and torque feel. For each rotation of the rear wheel, in 5th gear, the crank spins 3.14 times providing an outstanding rear wheel driving force feeling to the rider. The 12-hole, 2-directional Mikuni fuel injectors produce a wide spray pattern for complete cylinder filling. 3.5 litre dual inlet airbox features one inlet at the front and one at the rear for maximum breathing efficiency. Smooth-shifting, 5-speed transmission features optimized gear ratios for both strong low rpm acceleration and relaxed highway cruising.
