Regular maintenance for the 2014-2015 Ducati Streetfighter 848

This is maintenance that you can do yourself (though the manual says you need a dealer to do it).

Every 1000 km/600 miles miles OR 6 months (whichever comes earlier, perform the following maintenance:

Check the engine oil level
Check the brake and clutch fluid levels
Check tyre pressure and wear
Check the drive chain tension and lubrication
Check the brake pads. If necessary, contact your dealer to replace pads

General Information on the 2014-2015 Ducati Streetfighter 848

Powerful, 849cc, liquid-cooled, Testastretta 11° L-Twin with four Desmodromically actuated valves per cylinder, which can produce a whopping 132 horsepower and 93 Nm of torque. Lap times are significantly reduced because of its minimalist switchgear and the Ducati Quick Shift System, which allows gear-shifting without manual clutch activation or without closing the throttle, and was derived from Ducati’s racing department.

Additional technologies such as the Ducati Traction Control, the Marzocchi forks and the Sachs rear suspension further increase performance. Front brake is 2 x 320mm semi-floating discs, radially mounted Brembo callipers 4-piston, 2-pad. Rear brake is
245mm disc, 2-piston calliper.
