About the 2015-2016 Yamaha Super Tenere ES

The ES model also comes with all the modern conveniences like electronically adjustable suspension, cruise control, heated grips, adjustable windscreen, traction control and ABS. Even so, the bike can benefit from a few upgrades to help ruggedize it for serious adventures. The upgrades are designed to enhance the already rugged build of the Yamaha while also giving it plenty of capacity to carry camping gear, clothing, tools, spares and emergency equipment over long distances.

Jesse Luggage Odyssey II hard panniers are made of durable 2mm-thick 5052 aluminum and are mounted to a robust steel rack system. The AltRider luggage rack system replaces the passenger seat with a second luggage rack, providing added storage space to strap on additional gear and equipment (e.g. RotopaX fuel containers, top box) for an extended trip. The racks are constructed of high-strength 4.8mm anodized aluminum with multiple cut-outs that provide a wide range of options for strapping down equipment.
