TIP:
● Air filter
• This model’s air filter is equipped with a disposable oil-coated paper element, which must not be cleaned with compressed air to avoid damaging it.
• The air filter element needs to be replaced more frequently when riding in unusually wet or dusty areas.
● Hydraulic brake service
• After disassembling the brake master cylinders and calipers, always change the fluid. Regularly check the brake fluid levels and fill the reservoirs as required.
• Every two years replace the internal components of the brake master cylinders and calipers, and change the brake fluid.
• Replace the brake hoses every four years or if cracked or damaged.

About the 2015-2017 Yamaha V Star 1300 Deluxe

2016 Yamaha V Star 1300 Deluxe The 80-cubic (1304cc) liquid cooled SOHC 60° V-twin engine, with four valves per cylinder, 9.5:1 compression ratio and dual counterbalancers, delivers smooth power to the ground. Four valves per cylinder (36mm intake, 32mm exhaust), ceramic-composite-plated cylinders, high-quality forged aluminum 100mm pistons, and the 5-speed transmission has a smooth shifting feeling, and gear ratios. The tank holds a generous 4.9 gallons of fuel. Seven-spoke aluminum wheels and matching rear pulley mount fat, 16-inch tires for a cool period look albeit with big contact patches on the road.
