Maintenance Schedule and Service Intervals for the 2017-2018 Ducati Supersport

The 2017-2018 Ducati Supersport maintenance schedule and service intervals — sourced from the owner’s manual.

This applies to these methods:

  • 2017 Ducati Supersport
  • 2018 Ducati Supersport

Regular maintenance for the 2017-2018 Ducati Supersport

This is maintenance that you can do yourself (though the manual says you need a dealer to do it).

Important

Using the motorcycle under extreme conditions, such as very damp and muddy roads or dusty and dry environment, could cause above-average wear of components like the drive system, the brakes or the air filter. If the air filter is dirty, the engine could get damaged. Therefore, this might translate in required service or replacement of the wear parts earlier than specified in the scheduled maintenance chart.

Every 1000 km/600 miles miles OR 6 months (whichever comes earlier, perform the following maintenance:

Check the engine oil level
Check brake fluid level
Check tyre pressure and wear
Check the drive chain tension and lubrication
Check the brake pads. If necessary, contact your dealer to replace pads

2017-2018 Ducati Supersport Maintenance Schedule Table

The following is the list of maintenance operations and to be done on this motorcycle with a distance or time interval — whichever comes earlier.

This maintenance schedule is in the same format as in the manual, though altered to fit this screen.

Warning

This scheduled maintenance chart is designed for a road use. If it is used on the track, even if not during sport competitions, all parts of the motorcycle are more stressed so the routine maintenance operations must be carried out more frequently than indicated.

Please contact a Ducati Dealer or authorised Service Centre where you can receive customised service advice according to the sport use you make.

The distances and times are mentioned below. Whenever the first of either the time or distance interval is reached, the maintenance is required.

General Information on the 2017-2018 Ducati Supersport

The SuperSport is powered by a specially adapted version of the already renowned and appreciated 937 cc twin-cylinder Ducati Testastretta 11°. The wheels mount the new Pirelli Diablo Rosso III tires, 120/70 ZR 17 at the front and 180/55 ZR 17 at the rear.

The ABS system is the 9MP multi-calibration ABS, meaning the rider has the possibility to switch from one configuration to another by selecting the appropriate Riding Mode. The Plexiglas screen can be adjusted with just one hand; riders can raise it 50 mm and so obtain better airflow protection.
