Ducati Diavel 2014 Complete Maintenance Schedule

Ducati Diavel 2014

The Ducati Diavel 2014 maintenance schedule — sourced from the owner’s manual.

It also applies to the “Ducati Diavel Carbon” sub-models — similar motorcycle, same maintenance.

Regular maintenance for the Ducati Diavel 2014

This is maintenance that you can do yourself (though the manual says you need a dealer to do it).

Every 1000km (600 miles) or six months — whatever comes sooner — do the following maintenance: have to perform the following maintenance:

Check engine oil level
Check brake and clutch fluid level
Check tyre pressure and wear
Check the drive chain tension and lubrication
Check brake pads. If necessary, contact your dealer to replace pad

You don’t have to do all that every six months but it helps. Especially if you’re riding it often.

Ducati Diavel 2014 Maintenance Schedule Table

Below is the list of operations and type of intervention. Check the distance and the time interval. The sooner of the two applies.

Some of the operations have to be done by a dealer. This is true when you need special equipment, e.g. Ducati diagnostic tools.

The maintenance interval for the Ducati Diavel 2014 is every 15,000 kms (9,000 miles) for major items of service, and every 30,000 kms for the dreaded desmo service (“valve clearance”).
