This is the maintenance schedule with associated service intervals for the Triumph Tiger 800 XRx LRH motorcycles, the “Low Ride Height” version of the Triumph Tiger 800 XRx.
It’s very similar to those for other motorcycles with similar engines in the Triumph Tiger 800 series, like the Triumph Tiger 800 XRx. But make sure you don’t need to see the Triumph Tiger 1200 XRX LRH. Different bike!

What you need to maintain the Triumph Tiger XRx LRH
Consult the below maintenance schedule to see what you might need, e.g. oil, spark plugs, etc. You can find part numbers that we’ve researched to help out.
|Oil||Triumph recommends 10W/40 or 10W/50 semi or fully synthetic motorcycle engine oil that meets specification API SH (or higher) and JASO MA, such as Castrol Power 1 Racing 4T 10W-40 (fully synthetic) engine oil, sold as Castrol Power RS Racing 4T 10W-40 (fully synthetic) in some countries.|
|Oil filter||Replace the oil filter every time you change the oil. Use Triumph part number T1218001. You can also use K&N’s KN-204-1.|
|Brake fluid||Triumph motorcycles need DOT 4 brake fluid (they have a clutch cable, so you don’t need fluid for the clutch).|
|Coolant||Triumph uses Hybrid Organic Acid Technology coolant with a 50% ethylene glycol mix. Zerex G05 is a HOAT coolant that meets this spec.|
|Front brake pads||Standard brake pads code is T2021330 (LH) and T2021340 (RH). The equivalent part number for EBC brakes is FA181HH.|
|Rear brake pads||Use original part number T2025016. The equivalent part number for EBC brakes is FA140HH.|
|Spark plugs||NGK code CR9EK. Note they’re sold individually. Make sure they’re gapped to 0.9mm with an appropriate spark plug gap tool.|
|Air filter||The part number for the air filter is T2200557. You can also use K&N part TB-8011, which are generally more available and cheaper.|

The following is the list of maintenance operations and to be done on this motorcycle with a distance or time interval — whichever comes earlier.
There are two kinds of service interval: every a) distance or b) time period. In each case, it’s the earlier of the two that’s most important.

General information about the Triumph Tiger XRx LRH
A contemporarily styled XRX ‘LRH’ (low ride height) model with an adjustable seat setup which is 1.9 in lower than the standard Tiger XRX, taking the lowest seat height setting to 29.9 in (760 mm) and giving a uniquely accessible riding position.
The Tiger XRx LRH has a liquid-cooled, 12 valve, DOHC, in-line 3-cylinder type engine which revs like mad but also has torque everywhere you need it.
With multi-point sequential electronic fuel injection and stainless steel 3 into 1 header system, side mounted stainless steel muffler.
The Tiger 800 has has a maximum power EC of 95 Hp (70 kW) @ 9,500 rpm and maximum torque EC of 58 FT-lbs (79 Nm) @ 8,050 rpm. Tiger XRx LRH has a twin 12 in (305 mm) floating discs, Brembo 2piston sliding calipers, switchable ABS front brakes and single 10.04 in (255 mm) disc, Nissin single piston sliding caliper, switchable ABS rare brakes.
